Mission

Our company, Professional Link, is a B2B telecommunications provider, holding a national license for the provision of telephone, data, and cloud-based communication services. Moreover, our infrastructure is distributed among multiple nodes both in Italy and abroad. It is our belief that it is possible to transform complexity into simplicity as a result of the value of our personnel and the quality of our services.
We provide and install solutions, leaving customers free to focus on activities that generate value for their business. Unquestionably, all of that with maximum transparency and clear communication. In fact, it is part of who we are to believe that these characteristics are the basis for building a solid human relationship with those who rely on us.

Goals

Professional Link aims to grow significantly, doubling its turnover in the next two years. We intend to acquire new customers, creating highly complex projects for them, which will allow us to further expand into the European market. To do this, we are increasing the attractiveness of our offers thanks to the introduction of new and integrated solutions to our existing infrastructure.
Professional Link also aims to improve its reputation, so that it can expand partnerships with carriers, industry operators, commercial partners and institutional entities.
Our most significant goal, however, remains to protect who we are and the environment that, as a team, we have painstakingly built together. We intend to do this by formalizing the effective practices already consolidated in daily operations. We also adopted a human resources growth plan that guarantees the coverage of roles and continuous training for every staff member.

Who we are: our history

1998

In an apartment in Cermenate, Andrea Ferlin meets two other partners with whom he sets up Professional Link.

Andrea takes over the whole company and hires Fabio, the first collaborator, and Elisa, who launches the company website.

During its early years, PLINK provided services such as Internet lines, switchboards and virtual faxes. For Andrea, Fabio and Elisa this is a period of experimentation and sacrifice. The three young people enter a new sector, full of opportunities to discover. They learn by doing, taking big risks.

In those early years, everyone took care of everything. There is no clear division of roles because they act, with enthusiasm, according to the company’s needs.

2001

2007

Francesco, the third collaborator, joins the team. With him the first internal software was born.

2007 was a delicate period, when self-taught education was still practiced, and problems arose mainly from inexperience. At the same time, PLINK was preparing for a big leap.

Professional Link from reseller becomes operator, finally obtaining the general authorization for networks and telephony throughout the national territory.

Soon after, the company entered the world of VoIP (Voice over IP), allowing its customers to make calls using an Internet connection.

2008

Further expansion becomes necessary: the lines sold increase considerably, as do the telephony customers.

The time has come to register the PLINK logo, made up of 3 official colors: red (passion), acid green (computer skills) and orange (creativity). This is the graphic representation of the company’s humanity, its beating heart.

More people are hired and each establishes their own department, which matures hand in hand with its staff’s skills.

2015

PLINK grows faster and begins to manufacture its Internet lines autonomously, managing the provisioning and assurance part in-house. This kicks off a second phase of our history, which sees us, at this point, launching into the future. In fact, frequent hirings add extra services to Professional Link’s offer. It was during this time that the company hired talented, qualified people to support existing departments.

Due to the exponential increase in staff, the three apartments in which PLINK is located quickly become too cramped. Therefore, the idea was born of creating an updated headquarters, large enough to accommodate everyone and with ample space for future expansions.

Therefore, a building in via Alcide De Gasperi was purchased, and the works for its renewal began. This was aimed at creating an architecture with a strong identity and representative of our values.

2019

Due to the exponential increase in staff, the three apartments in which PLINK is located quickly become too cramped. Therefore, the idea was born of creating an updated headquarters, large enough to accommodate everyone and with ample space for future expansions.

Therefore, a building in via Alcide De Gasperi was purchased, and the works for its renewal began. This was aimed at creating an architecture with a strong identity and representative of our values.

The renovated headquarters officially opens: an avant-garde structure, built with respect for the environment and, above all, for the physical and mental well-being of our collaborators.

PLINK enters the share capital of ICONA Srl, a company from Ivrea made up of twenty subjects who share the mission of making the places of Camillo and Adriano Olivetti, once again, an international model for innovation, social responsibility and creativity.
